Equine Ultrasound

In this class you will learn how to successfully read an ultrasound machine, track the reproductive tract of a mare, detect embryos, follicles, edema and possible fluid on the uterus. Within the lecture portion you will go over the equipment and supplies needed to set your breeding program up.  You will also learn to Deep Horn Inseminate, Utilize Frozen and Fresh Semen and Uterine Flush.  The estrus cycle will the studied and you will learn the process of getting your horse in foal.
