Equine Ultrasound * Must take DHI Course with Ultrasound, so we have combined the two courses into a combination class.  If you are taking Embryo Transfer, this is the prerequisite.

In this class you will learn how to successfully read an ultrasound machine, track the reproductive tract of a mare, detect embryos, follicles, edema and possible fluid on the uterus. Within the lecture portion you will go over the equipment and supplies needed to set your breeding program up.  You will also learn to Utilize Frozen and Fresh Semen.  Deep Horn Insemination and Uterine Flush.  The estrus cycle will also be studied.

*This course must be taken before Embryo Transfer.
